Amy Wiggins
AJ's Personal Training
Amy Wiggins is a Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition and Mindset Coach. She is blessed to be an excellent role model to two beautiful girls and married to a very supportive husband. Since her freshman year of high school, Amy knew that she would choose coaching as her career. As a native of the southwest suburbs of Chicago, Amy received a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science and Health from Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, Illinois. Her career began as a physical education & health teacher as well as a basketball coach in a middle/high school. Over an 11-year period, Amy taught and coached youth ages 5-15 years to empower themselves through health, fitness, and sports participation.
In 2015, Amy was recruited to become an NFL Fitnessgram Champion and work on a research project they had just begun funding. She jumped at the chance to work under Dr. Kenneth Cooper, aka "The Father of Aerobics" and her childhood favorite football team the Chicago Bears. She oversaw thirty-five schools within her market, contributed feedback during yearly NFL Champion Masterminds plus hosted a Fitnessgram software implementation workshop at Halas Hall, the training camp of the Chicago Bears.
After the birth of her second daughter, she took time off. Amy enjoyed the time home but felt a calling to support individuals in creating a better life for themselves. As a personal trainer, Amy enjoyed the flexible schedule and one-to-one time with clients. Although she was excelling there, Amy felt there was still something missing from the gym’s mission and philosophy. She decided to create her own brand that would incorporate exercise, nutrition, and mindset.
Amy is an optimistic, compassionate, giving, and direct coach, trainer, and educator. She is driven to change the life of each person she encounters on a daily basis and empower those who allow her to support them in creating a healthy fit lifestyle.
